A big thank you to all the students and families that turned out today to represent the school at the Claregalway St Patrick’s festivities. Here are two videos Terri took earlier. A big thanks to Daniel, Niamh and Siobhán for all their work getting it all together for today’s performance.
Yesterday we received our architect’s impression of our new build by ABM Design and Build. Progress on the site opposite the Community Centre is being made rapidly. We have been given a best case scenario of moving in to our new purpose built school at the end of October 2019 during the Mid-Term. What an exciting time. The space will be so welcome. Thank you to all in the school community who believed in us from when we started out with 29 pupils here on Cloonbiggen Road. Our vision hasn’t changed and has survived so many obstacles- Planning Permission for Additional classrooms, working in less than adequate premises but still having high standards, hosting events without a gym, hosting Activity Week each year thanks to our creative parents, providing sports without a pitch or gym and always borrowing or bussing to venues….. It has been challenging but we are so near the permanent premises with all it will afford us. We look forward to the busy months ahead. Thank you again for your patience and your support.

Best of luck to our students representing the school today in NUIG at the provincial finals today.
We just finished our Aistear theme last Friday. Thank you to all the parents, teachers and SNA’s who helped out with the Aistear stations. More pics on Junior Infant page.
We had a lovely Winter Walk in Rinville today. The children enjoyed ticking off boxes on their “ Winter Hunt and Park Checklist”. When we got to the playground we had a picnic outside and then the children had a great time playing in the playground. They were very good at carrying their own backpacks. Thank you to all the parents and teachers who helped out on the trip. More pics on classroom section.
Hi 1st & 2nd Class parents.
A recording of the school play is available for viewing in the 1st & 2nd Class page. A huge thank you to all for your contribution over the past few weeks getting everything ready in the background. A special word of thanks to Antoina, Eileen, Ellie & Sonia for getting the props created.
We hope you enjoy watching it again.

The children at Claregalway Educate Together N.S. had great fun at the Baboro Children’s Arts Festival this year. The Junior Infants and Helen’s room went to see “Tetris” at The Black Box Theatre. It was very interactive and fun and they all got a chance to boogie on the stage at the end of the show.
On the 19th October, CETNS held a Big Breakfast for Claregalway District and Daycare Centre. We raised approximately 400 euro which will go towards their new building. It was great fun. There were loads of yummy things to eat-homemade pancakes, fruit, sausage rolls, breakfast muffins, flapjacks to name a few.
