Climate Change Projects on display in Tuam Library/Sketching Workshop by Environmentalist Gordon D'arcy in Tuam Library on November 28th.

On November 28th, some students from 4th, 5th and 6th class traveled to Tuam Library with their parents to view their Climate Change posters which were on display in Tuam Library. As part of the Project, they were invited to a sketching workshop by environmentalist Gordon D'arcy who has an interest in sketching animals that have become common in Ireland due to Climate Change.

 

What do families at CETNS do at home to reduce, re-use and recycle?

In November, Junior and Senior Infants had to prepare their Show and Tell presentation on the topic " What do you do at home to reduce, reuse and recycle" .Here are some examples of what they came up with.

Re-using Old Socks

Junior Infants re-used old odd socks for hats and scarves for their Snowmen during the Art Station at Aistear when they were exploring a Winter Theme. Have a look at their creations.
