We are pleased to have utilised some of the previously unused space around the school. The installation of artificial grass has created a versatile area for both curricular activities and additional play space for children during breaks. The children love getting time outdoors to enjoy this new space.

Beyond The Classroom
What a great start to our Beyond The Classroom week in 1st Class. In the morning, they had fun games & soccer on the Astro pitch, followed by more exciting games using tags, the parachute and tug-of-war in the hall. After lunch, the children explored rope swinging & balancing, mud painting and tree climbing at a forest school set up nearby. Finally, the students heard all about the world of SCUBA diving. Thanks to all our lovely parents for facilitating these activities.
Outdoor Education
1st Class really enjoyed their introduction to Outdoor Learning with Siobhán Sloane (Heritage in Schools Specialist). They went on a nature walk to the Community Centre and participated in a detailed scavenger hunt which included things that might NOT BE SEEN and things that can only be HEARD. They played games, did some mock fire building and stick art.

🌐✨📚 Unlocking the Future of Learning 📚✨🌐
Dear Fidelity Investments Team,
We at Claregalway Educate Together National School extend our heartfelt gratitude for the generous donation of a suite of laptops, so graciously presented to us by Amanda Colreavy on behalf of Fidelity Investments.
These laptops are much more than technology; they are windows to the world, through which our students will explore the vast universe of coding and computational thinking.
Amanda’s presentation was not just a transfer of technology; it was a passing of the torch to the next generation of thinkers, creators, and innovators. Our students are already buzzing with ideas and eager to embark on a journey of discovery that these laptops make possible.
We are excited to witness the growth and learning that these laptops will foster in our classrooms. Each keystroke will be a step toward greater knowledge and understanding, and Fidelity Investments’ commitment to education will echo in every success our students achieve.
Thank you once again for investing in our students’ futures. We are honored to embark on this educational odyssey with your support, and we look forward to sharing our progress with you.
Warmest regards,
The Staff and Students of Claregalway Educate Together National School
